Small surgery numbing medication

Has anyone ever had numbing medication for small surgical procedures that when it's injected, it feels like fire going through your body. That happened to me. It never has before.

Some medications will make you feel like that, but often it's the rate at which they're administered. Nurses, when they don't really care for the patient, have been known to push fluids very quickly which burns like hell. Others, of course, just aren't paying attention.

@Graylight I've also heard that, but, they were very kind to me and gentle. They gave me a warning, but, I still made a few noises!!

@Indy74 Good to know. I only learned the inside info after being on the wrong end of it -- which I deserved.

Some medications simply burn a little bit, but luckily it seems to be the numbing kind, so it's momentary. Hope all turned out well.

@Graylight it did thank you my friend. You don't deserve to be treated like that period.🤗
