ew... droplets 馃あ imagine if these droplets became... airborne! 馃槺

@pentacorn The main difference is that with droplets I can infect you if you give me a hug, with aresolized infections I can infect you from the other room via ventilation
pentacornF
@DrSunnyTheSkeptic it's all about particle size, yes, but there are variables... like velocity, as he mentioned. sneezing into an ac intake could change droplet to airborne, in theory.

@pentacorn Imagine that, hey hold up I gotta sneeze *climbs on a chair to get to the AC* ACHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
pentacornF
@DrSunnyTheSkeptic here, you'd have to bend down slightly. :)
DrSunnyTheSkeptic26-30, M
@pentacorn Your AC's are knee level?
pentacornF
@DrSunnyTheSkeptic thereabout, yep. of course you could have it placed anywhere, floor to ceiling, when planning to build.
DrSunnyTheSkeptic26-30, M
@pentacorn interesting, our AC here in Bulgaria are always near ceiling level, unless it's one of those big fridge like ones
pentacornF
@DrSunnyTheSkeptic that's probably better, depending on whether you're cooling or heating. plus it wouldn't be as likely to pick up and pull through dust from the floor in front of the vent.
