Hey UK, Is It True That Covid Is So Scarce There That Vaccine Companies Have Too Few People To Test?

I heard a report on the radio reporting a 3 week old story saying that there are so few Covid cases in UK, that they don't have enough people to test vaccines on.

If true, it's spectacular, good news.

But, why would it not have been widely reported?
