Why did people back in the 70s and 80s looked so skinny?! 😳😳😳

I saw photo of my parents and they were SKINNY!!!! I mean even the women. That isn’t normal. Most women nowadays are thicker and fuller. I heard men that they don’t like skinny women. My dad was a skinny teenager and my mom was a skinny child/preteen.
How come people were skinnier back then? I envy them. Cher was SKINNY! Even my grandma was thin!

Yes a lot of women looked much better. The food today has so much crap in it and typically women were able to stay home and actually cook a decent meal. Didn’t have to bring home fast food so much

Well today we usually need 2 incomes to live, but I think it’s more of what’s in the food. For 90-95% of the time I’m the one who makes dinner at home. I think people also just simply didn’t eat as much. We’ve become a gluttonous society. @AutismGirl18
