Try running on a softer surface. If you are on the road or side walk may want to think about going to a school track. Grass if you know it鈥檚 smooth. Also may want to ice and heat your legs. Also, may want to do stretches and some light leg strengthening.

@Rayy79 I run on a treadmill or out un my backyard on the grass when my ankles need a break from the treadmill. I noticed that when I get to around 1.2 my shins are achy and sometimes I even have little knots. I was told to switch shoes for ankle support but not my shins hurt lol
