Help pls, I'm freaking out!!

I was healthy and fine until I decided to lose weight (lost 60lbs in 6 months). I did Keto and IF, and my skin was fine, until I began to develop psoraisis, confirmed when spoke to my family doctor and using a prescribed cream.

Now I'm looking up info on it and am so sad/scared, there is no cure so I ruined my body essentially. I'm honestly freaking out. Is there anybody who has it and has any solutions/remedies to make the scarring and redness disappear?

Def get a second opinion or see another specialist covered under insurance. Your first prescription may not always work, as with anything else that’s topical. Right now it’s trial and error with the things your doctor prescribes until you continue to work together to find the right product or combination of products that can keep it in check. I’ve had some skin issues myself and didn’t find the right thing until 3 dermatologists and 5 prescriptions later. Everyone reacts differently to products so it’s gonna take some time. I hope you feel better soon and no, you did not ruin your body. 60 lbs is a big deal - don’t let the psoriasis take away from the amazing and healthier body that you worked so hard for.

@DecafD thank you I appreciate this,

I didnt have much time to enjoy or feel proud for my weight loss bc of this psoraiss, but I cant help feeling so angry. I worked so hard to lose the weight and now I know with this it will bring on a new set of problems like fiancianl and I'm very insecure and self conscious of where it spreads and leaves a mark. It's so disgusting, I just want my normal body back.

My next steps are reaching out to my family doctor and hopefully he will refer me to a dermatologist and idk I cant hope the marks will disappear I guess I can only hope to have it stopped completely from forming randomly for now
