Help pls, I'm freaking out!!

I was healthy and fine until I decided to lose weight (lost 60lbs in 6 months). I did Keto and IF, and my skin was fine, until I began to develop psoraisis, confirmed when spoke to my family doctor and using a prescribed cream.

Now I'm looking up info on it and am so sad/scared, there is no cure so I ruined my body essentially. I'm honestly freaking out. Is there anybody who has it and has any solutions/remedies to make the scarring and redness disappear?

Start with seeing a doctor. Once you know for certain what it is, then you can deal with treatment for it.

@HootyTheNightOwl yeah that was my first step, he said it is psoriasis or at least looks really close to it, all my symptoms and just prescribed me a cream that has reduced the redness but it's still there and has spread to some other parts of my body 😭
@Crushedstrawberries Does he know that you have worsening symptoms???

You may need a different cream or could possibly have excema instead...

@HootyTheNightOwl they will randomly begin to appear slowly then when I put cream on they stop but leave a mark. I havnt seen him yet bc each visit is expensive so I'm trying to wait out using all of the cream hoping it will begin to make the redness disappear entirely 😔
@Crushedstrawberries If you are already using this cream, it's not a good idea to mix other remedies with it unless you know for sure what it will or will not react with.

Since you are seeking medical attention with it, it might be a better idea to just stick with what the doctor gave you and see what he says when you see him again.

@HootyTheNightOwl yeah I meant I'm using the cream he prescribed, sorry for the confusion. It's just looking up and seeing no cure for this I'd really freaking me out, all bc I decided to go and live a healthier lifestyle.
@Crushedstrawberries Don't look it up. Leave it to a qualified professional to diagnose and treat.

Google will try and convince you that it's cancer or cooties if you allow it to play on your mind.

I did the same thing with my back and thought that I had a herniated disc or something - turned out to be tight muscles that a few sessions of acupuncture sorted out until isolation kicked in.

@HootyTheNightOwl thank you! I appreciate the advice! I'm avoiding google for all that, mostly using reddit and peoples personal experiences for this!
