There's always a possibility of most anything but if they had created a vaccine already it would have been done in record time. Most of what I was reading claimed 8 years is typical to create and approve a vaccine for this type of virus if one can be found at all.

@LILY61 That is possible but I think it is unlikely. In my opinion as long as we monitor the transmission rates and new cases closely and keep "the curve" below that maximum threshold for our hospitals then we should not all die.
But these are crazy times where half the people are pleading for social distancing and half are calling it a conspiracy. If half do get infected and the last I read the the average person with Covid-19 infects 7 others then the odds are not in our favor.
For me it is too overwhelming and there are too many conflicting reports to follow it closely and guesstimate the outcome.
