UK (finally) announces Quarantine measures for inbound international travellers.

I don’t understand your response sir if a country was announcing restrictions -qureitine how would that fill up empty rooms in hotels it seems like it would do the opposite @whowasthatmaskedman

@whowasthatmaskedman no UK Hotel is allowed to be open currently unless providing accommodation for emergency workers or homeless people.

That won't change until step 3 of the reopening plan. So Jul at earliest.

@1231231231a @SW-User Here, the empty hotels were populated with returning travellers placed in quarantine. They were maintained in isolation in the rookms with security,Meals provided and medical monitoring in isolation. It worked well. The govt footed the bill.

UK government isn't doing that you just have to promise to do it and give an address you'll be at (European travellers currently do not have to give any residency address as they have rights of free movement).

@SW-User We tried that at first . But too many broke quarantine. So they got a little tougher. And kept the hotels in business. As much as I generally dont like our Govt. They have handled this one very well generally

However you miss the point that any artist needs a muse the right paints, good light and SO much more before they can create a masterpiece such as you credit me with. And lets face it, There is all that Primo material to work with coming out of America. So I have to give your people much of the credit. Its only Fair and Balanced.
