@whowasthatmaskedman You do know Chicken Pox and measles..which are two things being brought back by antivaxxers..are also deadly diseases ..right? The difference is most people are vaccinated for them..children who have parents that refuse to vaccinate them.are a different story. Immune compromised people...babies who are too young to be vaccinated yet.

Whooping cough. A simple vitamin K shot when the baby is born to prevent BRAIN BLEED...no fucking joke..people would rather risk their baby literally dying just weeks after birth bwvause they fear vitamin k.

@JaggedLittlePill I honestly didn’t realize people were still doing that. It was [b]not[/b] recommended even when I was a child and there was no vaccine. But now people shouldn’t [b]have[/b] to do it. The deaths that result from chickenpox are rare, usually unvaccinated adults.

@bijouxbroussard yea..the recent outbreak of measles in Washington was due to some antivaxxers. They caught wind of cases and started hosting parties with infected kids. Then proceeded to send their kids to school and other such lovely things.

@bijouxbroussard and yes. Pox is not as deadly as others...I just like to point out that these diseases were eradicated and there really is no need for anyone to suffer from them.

As well an immune compromised person who cannot be vaccinated will likely become 10x more aicknor die from contracting something like chicken pox. They cannot fight those diseases. Our vaccination protects them more than us who would likely be able to fight it.
