A group of us went for a ten k run today.

We all kept a safe distance apart in compliance with the new laws. We came across the police charge people for breaking it. I have no sympathy for these thoughtless idiots, they’re to stupid to understand the consequences. The fine is over $600, perhaps they’ll think next time they leave the house. It makes me wonder if they are also panic shoppers. 🤷‍♀️

I’m not so sure the standard safe distance makes sense in context of group running. Seems like moving through the space the previous runner just occupied reduces the benefits.

@QuixoticSoul That’s a point, although we were probably about five meters apart. Hopefully that’s enough distance.

The soccer fields are within site of my home. Last weekend a group of about 15 or so where out playing soccer. The police came and made them leave. No tickets just warnings this time. Now I will see a couple playing out there sometimes one will be guarding the goal and the other kicking towards the goal. It is good to see them out getting exercise and being safe.

@Shannon27 That is a promising sign.

They are stupids who want to jeopardize the world

@SW-User Some just don’t get it, or they think it’s someone else’s problem.

Are they pulling over every car with more than one person in it and fining them $600 each? 🚔️🚓🚓🚓🚓
VodkaBec · 31-35, F
@FloorGenAdm I wouldn’t have thought so.
