I disagree. Making jokes about a serious situation is a way to lighten the load. It is not, in most cases, intended to disrespect the afflicted or to disregard the seriousness of the situation. Many of us have experienced loss more than once. We don't need to be reminded of how it feels.

Humour in the worst of circumstances is one of the things that gets us through them. Gallows humour is well known among first responders for the exact same reasons.
Would you say that face to face to someone who has lost members of there family due to the coronavirus ?
I cannot agree with you. All COVID-19 Jokes are disgusting. @SW-User

@Wearelivinginamadworld Would I say what I've just said? Yes. Would I make a joke about coronavirus to someone who has just lost a loved one? Of course not, because that would be grossly insensitive. There is a time and a place for everything. Am I able to laugh about things that have taken people from me in my own life? Yes, because they're not personal, they're situational and because there was no malice intended.

If we stop laughing about everything which has affected someone in a bad way then we'll never laugh at all.
Of course i agree, we have lost many too.
Im talking about the current situation which hasn't reached its peak yet, and there are many in such distress. No malice intended. Peace to you ✌️@SW-User
