@HannahSky except they aren't. The properly fitted masks are custom fitted and made from specific materials. While I'm sure it must give you a great pat on the back to feel that making pieces of toilet paper and string will somehow stop a pandemic, it won't. Don't get me wrong, I like to get magnanimous at times too, particularly when it's completely useless.
@basilfawlty89 your post is useless.. I guess you think your stationary is funny. People are figuring out how to make the fitted N95 and face shields.. As well as the basic surgical masks. People are also donating what they have at home or can find for the N95.
@HannahSky while I'm sure it must be painful to you having been born without a sense of humour, I must admire your sheer dedication at making improperly fitting masks made from toilet paper and string. With people like you, it's only a matter of time before we beat this disease with the unassailable knowledge provided by that font of knowledge that is YouTube that geniuses with a webcam regularly contribute their expertise, essential oils and vaginal steaming. Just to show our appreciation, the world will now refer to you as Hannah The Plague Warrior Sky. I'm sure your knowledge of surgical equipment is matched only by your ego and self aggrandizement.
@HannahSky also I must admire the fact that at your age you're a qualified medical technician that knows better than qualified medical professionals. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2020/03/23/homemade-coronavirus-masks-do-they-actually-block-spread/2899622001/
@HannahSky not particularly. I'm more worried about the collosal stick up your backside. Perhaps your ego prevents you from reading a post on jest. This might mean the stick is your ego. There's also this amazing thing that's called "if you don't like it, don't read it". No one forced you to read this post, comment on it, or reply. Heaven forbid someone makes a joke during a lockdown, we should instead be serious and make tissue paper masks that don't work.
@HannahSky I did actually find an article which shows your masks are as useful as essential oils and ear candles. If you could read, you'd have noticed that. Using as small words I can muster, I'll now slowly say to you no one wants your faulty mask, nor your hand sanitizer. You're not making n95 masks. What you're doing is the equivalent of calling yourself a mechanic because you have access to a wrench and once checked your oil.
@HannahSky you still on my post whining? You could just ignore me or block me. That way your ego won't be hurt and you can keep feeling that your useless efforts makes you the saviour of humanity against the virus.
