How would the daughter get it in the first place if only men could get it?

@MrBlueGuy I'd just like to know if it was necessary for the gene to get transferred to someone of the endangered sex if it was skipping anyway.

@MrBlueGuy The women are the carriers. Women can get it but it's very rare.
