What do you think ?🧐

Research shows that your phobias are memories that have been transferred through DNA by your ancestors.

I think you should consider rephrasing your post.

Most of your phobias are based on your own experience, and memories, and traumas.

However, Some instinctive fears are based on genetic memory; That doesn't mean all phobias came from genetic memory!

@SW-User agreed. I had this same thought, otherwise they would burn all textbooks on Freudian psychology and the nurture vs nature argument.
That could be true but I wonder how would they prove it. 🤔

@PiecingBabyFaceTogether it's called genetic memory.

It's already proven by experience..

@SW-User *experiment! Sorry!😅
@SW-User Oh lol yes experiment
when the conception happen there is a "spark" fireworks so maybe past energies travel from one life/person to the other
Would like to see this research paper. Doesn't make sense as body decays and DNA break up in to atoms.

I’d like to see the research. Until then I have no opinion.

Can be true. Maybe due to past deeds. What about nightmares? 🤔

My fear of flying stems from a bad experience on a flight when I was 15.

It's possible that some phobias have a genetic component. Many mental illnesses are genetic.
