Is there any common reasons why a hand would be shaking every time it holds something?

It’s my left hand. If nothing is in it, there’s no shaking. But earlier I was holding a water bottle and my hand shook like any alcoholic. Even now as a I hold my phone...

The most common is "Essential Tremor" dont google hand shaking btw because it will likely come up with Parkinsons which is way off base if it only happens if you are grabbing something. This is common in adults and usually runs in the family.
lack of alcohol, change in medications.... there are others but if this continues frequently...really...please visit your doctor.

@666Maggotz Okay nothing too worrisome then unless it persists, it could be something as simple as a pinched nerve or just sensitive ligament from you sleeping on it funny. I'd suggest just stretching out the hand/wrist and trying to take it easy with it as much as you can today so whatever is aggravated calms down
Mine does that real bad sometimes. Once in a while I shake so bad I can't drive.
my grandmothers hands do that but she has motor issues. does your head shake too?
