Recent impairment (today) from heavy yardwork

Presently, my walking takes effort standing upright, both knee's very weak and my upper torso keeps listing to the right.

Just overly exhausted (?) possibly a candidate for stroke (?)...Haven't been symptomatic of any of these concerns seriously until today with the exception of chronic degenerative spine.

Had anterior facet surgery for degenerative spine years ago with no serious after effects other than chronic back pain treated with opiod meds dsily.

You think I should simply give it a reat a few days, or go to a hosp. ASAP >

Thanks, David

Hospital, my friend. You don鈥檛 want to take chances, as with your background in healthcare you know better than most. Please keep us posted. (((hugs)))

@bijouxbroussard In spite of being very aware of my medical condition, I was stupid to cross the line doing things contraindicated for my condition, as mentioned in another post, I reaiized it isn't s stroke. I'm going to monitor my progress periodically through the night. I will decide if the hosp. id needed by morning. I appreciate your stopping by. Love you honey, HUGS David

if you feel unwell, why not get checked out?
pentacornF
@Grateful4you it may just be a strain and sore knees. just keep an eye on yourself, and have someone else near you check on you. feel better soon.

@pentacorn Thats my feeling too, a stroke usually carries more symptoms and I have someone close. You are a dear and appreciate the concern 馃槆

Gosh sorry to hear you have to suffer with this. Not sure what would be the best option, probably rest since i'm guessing it's just come on more severely with the yard work. You can always go to hospital later on if it doesn't improve. Hope you feel better soon!
Grateful4youM
@SW-User Thanks bud, the listing to the right is fading, and a bit easier if I go slow. I have a long history of serious spine issues. But this evenings trauma was the worst. Thanks for checking on me dear friend. 馃槆

Please be carful! Also make sure you drink plenty of liquid to avoid heat stroke. Living in the desert, when I do my yard work I keep plenty of water with me and I keep a wet cloth around my neck and keep my wrist cool.
