Is there a certain part in everyone's DNA which the AIDS trigger seems to dock on?

It's a good question. Theoretically with gene editing we could remove AIDS or develop a vaccine.

@basilfawlty89 Some chinese genetics researcher developed a method for replacing parts of one's DNA. And since (when entering an organism) the AIDS trigger can logically not know about one's individual DNA, it cannot dock onto it (in order to not be noticed by antibodies) unless it was about a common part amongst all organisms at risk of getting infected by AIDS.

@scooogy I think it was CRISPR, which wasn't invented by the Chinese, it's a well known technique in the gene therapy world.
