Is this normal for doctors (see below)?

She says she's willing to take me on if I keep to a number of things including scrapping all my 'preconceived ideas about what's wrong with me,' going off my current prescription and going through months of testing just to see if I really have migraines. And more batteries of tests to see if I actually have seizures. I already have a diagnosis of migraines and a 'provisional diagnosis' of seizures after EEG's confirmed them years ago. I also have a diagnosis of vasovagal syncope. I would also have to totally comply with everything she told me.

Here's what bugs me, we aren't talking about your "preconceived ideas" we are talking about migraines that you've been diagnosed with, and seizures that medical test seem to confirm you've had.
Now maybe, if your current treatment isn't working and if she sees something in your records that could indicate the previous diagnosis was wrong, then just maybe more test are in order. But what I'm reading sounds like she doesn't really have any new ideas, but rather wants to use you as a guinea pig. I would definitely be getting another opinion.
