Is this normal for doctors (see below)?

She says she's willing to take me on if I keep to a number of things including scrapping all my 'preconceived ideas about what's wrong with me,' going off my current prescription and going through months of testing just to see if I really have migraines. And more batteries of tests to see if I actually have seizures. I already have a diagnosis of migraines and a 'provisional diagnosis' of seizures after EEG's confirmed them years ago. I also have a diagnosis of vasovagal syncope. I would also have to totally comply with everything she told me.

It seems like she believes that you have been misdiagnosed and she wants to explore your symptoms more thoroughly..

It's up to you.. have you found relief from your symptoms under your current course of treatment?

@SW-User Yes, but my current dr is retiring.

Ask your current doctor to make a recommendation

@SW-User Thank you. He put a note in my file so that they would keep me on the same seizure medicine.
