Narcissism might not be accurate in most cases, as many are not simply obsessed with their own appearance but seek attention from others or validation from others. A narcissist wouldn’t care what others thought but would be simply posting to say "look how great I am”.

@Temporallube I don’t deny that in some cases it might constitute narcissism, but I wouldn’t lump everyone who posts selfies into that category.
