Why have heavy pain while mensuration?

Hello All,

My wife always has heavy pain in stomach while mensuration at first day only (every month). She feels tired, sleepy and unhealthy. Can anyone help?

Get her some Midol! And a caffeinated beverage. I like pure leaf raspberry tea when I'm going through it and supposedly it makes your period shorter but I don't know of that's really true. If that doesn't work she might benefit from a heating pad and ice pack.
