What do you do when you're feeling crummy about yourself?

Stare at the stars, makes my issues feel small

Depends on why I'm feeling crummy really. Read and eat chocolate is for general malaise. If I can do something nice for someone else or exercise, that helps too.

@CuddleFeesh You seem like a highly intelligent person...so do you notice any patterns at all regarding when you feel down with no obvious reason?

I used to experience something similar but was able to pin down the pattern. Knowing why I felt that way made it easier to cope and anticipate the next round.

@Hairy theres almost always something on my mind I worry about. Maybe it's just become part of my nature or there is some innate sense I cant quite grasp that is trying to remind me there is something I need to do.

@CuddleFeesh I was the same, couldn't sleep for all the worrying. I tried a basic meditation and it worked so well for me that I can shut down the worry loop before it sucks me in fully.

Funny you mention "part of your nature" as there were things I wasn't accepting about myself that would niggle in the back of my mind and eventually trigger the crummy feeling. If it weren't for the depression, I wouldn't have found the solution. I've got a handle on the worst of it now.

Change of the seasons and big weather systems coming in will often start a mood. If I don't get enough "alone" time to recharge, that will do it too.

Idk but I feel like that right now
There’s no one for me to talk to though as usual
