What follows the SCS permant placement

So I am awaiting the call from the hospital for the consult, tests and things that happen prior to scs placement. Im curious how many people actually function well directly after surgery? Who of you have been able to go home just within 1 or 2 hours after surgery? Who jeeded a 1 or 3 in the hospital. ... I see myself needing time in the hospital. (With my big back surgery the surgeon tried to send me home a hour after i was out of recovery)there was No way in the world I could manage that. I was in Horrible pain, and ended up in the hospital for 3 days. Then they said you go to a nursing hime or home but you can't stay here.
