Does anyone else have a problem with crying at movies that are not sad?

I suffer from depression and am on antidepressants. I have an appointment to see some people but wtf to do in the meantime. If this happens to you what do you do that helps?

Just cry and get it out. That or just avoid movies. But that can cause you to lead a more and more isolated life. Have you been on meds long?

@canusernamebemyusername 11 years. I have been on most.
@ColoradoKid Even antipsychotics added to them? I have to use that combo.

@canusernamebemyusername good idea but I am not psyco.. yet. I don't know how long you have to be crazy before you can claim psycho. Sorry..
@ColoradoKid You don't have to be psycho for them to prescribe them. They are something they add onto your current media to help boost it. I have also heard them use Depakote as an adjunct as well.
I know when I get depressed I go into my own dark world. I can just stand there and have like emotional flashbacks. The AP help stop that so much.
I'm sorry about what you went through though. Do you keep a support network of people around you? Belong to any clubs or churches or anything?

@canusernamebemyusername I dont go to places like that. Just my family is about the most support group I have.
@ColoradoKid Try to extend your group if you can. I know how it feels not wanting to though. But it is healthy to have people to turn to. And the more people the better so you don't have your eggs all in one basket as it were. I hope you are okay and stable at the moment at least. You aren't feeling like harming yourself in any way are you?

@canusernamebemyusername lol.. self harm doesn't work for me no matter what I have tried. God sees to it.
