Protien drinks

So I am supposed to be packing the protien. I eat chicken every day, its about the only meat I eat these days.

I also do Ensure Originals
Then was told to up it to the
Ensure High Protien. Which I did but this stuff is soo crazy expensive.

However I have Chocolate Muscle Milk protien powder & another brand of Vanilla cream protien powder.

I was told if I use milk to use 1% or less. So what I did was mix 8 ounces of 1% milk in with 2 of the suggested serving scoops of the chocolate muscle milk. YUCK! It tasted heavy like thick wet sidewalk chalk (which I expierenced when my niece shoved a soaked piece in my mouth. Lol) So I added to this 8 ounces of 2% milk. It did greatly thin it out, unfortunately it was still thick, along with the yuck taste. Then I tried adding a scoop of the vanilla stuff to it. No help.

1.) How can I make this drinkable?

2.) I've seen people mix little protien.
packets with water before, can this.
help?

3.) Do I need to be mixing it with hot.
milk or hot water instead of cold?

Why would you use 1% or less of milk. I drink whole milk.

I use this.

It is flavorless. I put it in smoothies with fruit and yogurt.
Also flax seed is high in protein. Granola. I add all of that to a smoothie.

The best peoteinndrink that I found was called core power elite chocolate with 42 grams of protein.

And yes i used water for the protein powders like muscle milk. I did it cold in a shaker cup.

@JaggedLittlePill thank you. I will also try and find this product. Oh.. I have to do the lower fat content on milks, well actually everything because I have Gastroparesis. So I'm to have little to no fat or fiber, but i lack majorly on calories, and I'm told to beef up protien intake. Also supposed to do my best to not eat under 1000 calories a day which is where the shakes etc.. Come in because solid foods, and sometimes liquids cause a lot of sickness and pain. Hope that answers your question.
