Ever used an expired dental floss?

just saw a floss in our house, it's already expired.. but it's still a floss v:

I reuse the same piece until it frays. I rinse it after each use.

I do not like to toss anything that is still functional. It is just a piece of plastic, and is still good after use, as long as it is cleaned.

it's not clean it's covered in all that bacteria you're putting back in your mouth

I rinse it with water after. I is fine. I have never had a problem.

I seriously doubt I am in danger. I brush before I floss, then I use it to get any particles or plaque left over, then I clean it, and set it on the sink to dry.

If there were a danger, then I might as well toss my toothbrush out after every use. But nobody would think me nuts for using a toothbrush many times. Floss seems a lot like toothbrush bristles.
