Are doctors obligated to tell you that you are dying?
If they found something like blocked arteries or something, that were inoperable

Yes, it is their job and it is an unfortunate and difficult task. The doctor that I work under recently had to tell a patient who is having health issues that they have cancer and they only have 1 year and a half to live. She says it's the one thing that she'll never get used to about her profession.
