Are doctors obligated to tell you that you are dying?

If they found something like blocked arteries or something, that were inoperable

I think their duty is to the patient. They can certainly ask if the patient wants to know the results of something.

I would be livid (and quite possibly sue) if a doctor led me to believe I have a full life while I have a cancer that would kill me in months.

Yes. We all die. But it is the obligation of the doctor to tell us what they know (if we want to know it).
