How often do you think someone should weigh themselves if they are trying to lose weight?

When I was losing weight, I weighed myself every week. It was important for me to make sure I was on track. No one I've met has lost large amounts of weight without weighing in regularly. It may feel discouraging, but it gives you the chance to adjust your diet and exercise as you go along.
