Never. It's too discouraging. Focus on changing your lifestyle, and maybe check back in a year.

@Reject I've worked with a few people trying to lose weight and nothing stopped them faster then regularly checking their weight. People need to understand that losing weight requires commitment over a long period of time and if they aren't losing like they'd expect to, they often feel like the diet isn't working or they need to change something when really they just need to stay consistent and stick with the plan.
