Yes and they do help. I had eczema on my face when I was young after being sick most of the winter with one cold after another. My uncle suggested I take a one-a-day vitamin to help build my immune system up so I wouldn’t keep getting sick and the ezema went away too. I’ve used vitamins for my birds when they start getting listless and ruffled up and it turns them around in a couple of days.

@cherokeepatti wow glad that helped. I get it after being in the sun. Going on vacations anywhere hot can be a nightmare for me, i get completely covered in it.

@nahright09 Do you have a sun allergy?

@SW-User I went to a dermatologist because the itching was maddening. He wrote a prescription and told me to get a lotion that was very expensive, used the prescription 2 times a day and the lotion about 4 times a day. He told me there was no cure, they didn’t know what caused it and I would have it the rest of my life. I have had recurring patches of it but knew it was from some bad stresses depleting my vitamins and took Stress-B vitamins and it went away quickly. The lotions never cured it, only made the itching lessen.

@cherokeepatti it's been called lots of different things over the years by different specialists.

Basically i end up with little red bumps that are itchy and annoying - mostly on my neck and arms. I've tried a million different creams, nothing works to prevent them beyond being covered. Once they start popping up i shower using plain ivory soap - lather up and leave it on till i start feeling burning - after a few days that starts to dry them up.

@cherokeepatti what brand of vitamins do you take?
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@SW-User I am taking Nature’s Way B-50 complex right now and sometimes take vitamin E with selenium. I was also taking a one-a-day gummy and was getting leg cramps...apparently too much Vitamin D in my body and they had Vitamin D in them so I stopped with them.

@SW-User There are a lot of good brands of vitamins...I like Nature’s Way products in particular.
SW-User
@cherokeepatti Yup my health food store has them.. I don't think they are a drugstore brand.

@SW-User Medical researchers say that taking a one-a-day vitamin helps preserve the length of telemores, which is a measurement of how quickly we are aging....the shorter the telemores the more we have physically aged.
SW-User
@cherokeepatti and yet on the other hand you hear people saying it's all a scam... best to see for yourself I suppose.
