Can someone name what type of disorder/trait this is?

Having the constant need to count things....to the fact that you can’t focus on a task at hand. The need to count things distracts you. Anyone know what this is a sign or symptom of?

Obsessive compulsive disorder.

I had a really bad case, to the point that I couldn't function sometimes.
