If you have any antibiotics laying around, you could take them for the first two days to kill the virus.

Drink plenty of fluids and keep your hands clean.

@LithiumDrop what... antibiotics dont work like that 😑
@MartinTheFirst how do they work
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@LithiumDrop first of all theres different types of antibiotics, then you have to take them for a long time, usually 7 days or more under a doctors supervision to ensure the infection is treated before you stop. If you stop with the antibiotics too early then not only are you going to feel like shit but youve actually made what they call a "super bug"...

@LithiumDrop antibiotics to kill a virus? ???
I trust the girl that’s gone to medical school. 😅
@MartinTheFirst A round of antibiotics would be enough to fight the newly introduced antibodies, the first two days are crucial.

There’s a higher chance of a household keeping around general antibiotics than there is of them keeping around antivirals lol

@LithiumDrop fighting off the antibodies?? Isnt antibodies exactly what your immunesystem use to kill viruses??? Why would you want to get rid of those?
