How long do you wait to go swimming after eating?

I've been waiting an hour but I think that might be too long. Today I want to swim in a different schedule so I was wondering.

I was shocked at your reply. All parents said this when I was a kid. But I looked it up on some medical websites and you are RIGHT! Duke University Medical School, Mayo and several other respectable websites agree with you. I'm about to go in now.
