51% of millennials have no romantic partner.

I heard on the radio this morning that 51% of millennials have no romantic partner.
WTF? Do you care to offer your ideas to explain?
Millennials: Born 1981-1996 (22-37 years old)

[I am suggesting that 51% sounds like a big number of people not in a committed relationship at an age when couples historically are building futures together.]

If this is a real statistic, then it doesn't surprise me at all.
I have no independent living arrangement and I have no job (yet, I have a prospect rn). Who on earth in their right mind would date me? I have nothing to offer anyone, except my body to those who will take it.

@DDonde who would date you? Another millennial who gets how impossible it is sometimes. Joblessness with prospects isn't the worst thing. None of us are really doing all that great, haha.
