Wish me confidence and motivation, going back to the gym after so long

I'm thinking high intensity interval training or HIIT. For weight loss but also just toning. I'll have to do research on it later. Any opinions?

Weight training will burn calories the fastest. I prefer that over everything. But some cardio added in is good too. That will help with endurance

@Wurkoutgurl hmm. I'll have to really do some research. But I am definitely tired of being winded easily and getting pudgy. I miss being ripped. Never felt so confident

@Wurkoutgurl same here. Except bench press. I hate it. It's always been the hardest one to go up on. Triceps and shoulders I improve fast on. But I really want to hit the ground running and push hard. The only reason I was ripped before because my dad pushed me really hard.

@CuddleFeesh I think the reason I keep at it is because I feel so damn good after a workout!

@Wurkoutgurl I do feel that for sure. Even if you got a gut sticking out you feel about 10% hotter lol

@CuddleFeesh yes!! Seriously it helps my body and my brain. I'm a nicer/happier person and I look good too!

@Wurkoutgurl well I made myself go. Was hard to start but felt a brief period of high energy, like a runners high. And not as weak as I thought I would be
