Sorry to read that. I hope you're doing better now are you still have the same thing happen. Not a lot of fun.

How do you manage it? I have two papers to write, and I work all weekend, have the kids and housework, I have not slept at all and my husband will be getting home from his overnight shift... My Dr refuses to give me anything for anxiety unless my psychologist can convince her. I maxed out on antidepressants (which Drs just say, oh it treats anxiety, depression, migraines, insomnia, blah fucking blah). And I just keep thinking of all that has to be done and started to feel like I was going to puke. :/

[c=#003BB2]no not fun at all.. once it happens so much you kinda work out what is triggering it and well I just avoid that stuff as much as I can. it happens if I get in large crowds and I feel I cant get out, and a few other things[/c]

@Starkizzed21: antidepressants do nothing for my anxiety. you can buy over the counter stress reliever lollies, they help relax you a little bit. can be good for when writing papers and so on

I have never heard of that. I take two Benadryl and a clonazepam and it does nada nowadays. I just want to be in peace and quiet for like a whole week. My neighbors are smoking so much pot downstairs I can smell it. Soon my 8 month old will be waking up. And the moment I typed that I heard her. Aweeee

[c=#003BB2]hope things calm down and you can relax for a bit.. Anxiety I think is one of the worst things to have, it messes with you and your life so much and people who don't get it have no idea just how bad it is.. doctors just act like its not a big issue and tell you to do things like exercise or other nonsense to take anxiety away.. and like they told you, they claim antidepressants helps with anxiety but it also can cause anxiety and insomnia as a side effect.
my advice would be to find something that fully distracts you and calms you down. drawing and painting used to do that for me. when so anxious, I would distract myself with that and it worked a lot of the time.
those lollies also work to a extent. they are expensive but worth it. they are a fast relief. they normally are sold at chemists, you can get them as gummi lollies or as a nose spray.. worth looking into[/c]
