Ladies: feminine hygiene products question

For pads what’s your preference between these two:

Always
Or
Kotex


Idk how anyone uses always most of their pads feel like plastic - it’s irritating to the skin.

I prefer tampons myself but due to heavy flow I need pads as a back up. What’s your take on these two products...
