General question regarding periods... feel free to answer...

Girls, where u worried about getting it 1st period did u cry? If so, why? No need as it's a natural thing!

Why do some guys freak out when someone brings to the subject if periods? If women didn't have periods u wudnt be born!

Why are periods still regarded as 'being dirty' in some parts of the world?! It's how a woman's body works people! Get over yourselves!

Nah, I wasn't bothered by it. Probably because my mom explained it to me way in advance.

In my opinion, guys are bothered by it because they cringe at the thought of blood getting on their... erm, willies.

Nah.. my mom told me about it but I didn’t really pay attention to what she was saying and when I first had them I didn’t even notice and my mom told me I’d had my first one lol 😂

@SW-User my mum said she had that conversation with me, she never did, when my periods did start, she freaked out & pretty much avoided me for the week! I knew about via school sex ed but was my sister who sat me down & had the talk, that was 2 months after they started! Lol my mum did try to convince me it was dirty blood, but I knew a baby grows in there & if no fetus therefore ur period comes along, how the fuck is that dirty blood if a fetus grows in there?! Lol

The most I’ve had is a dull ache not worth worrying about. I only learned that periods are supposed to hurt when I started seeing posts of women complaining on SW 😂🤣@BondGirl84
Personally, I thought I looked forward to it, until it happened. It turned out to be just another one of those rather “yuck” but necessary facts of life. And I understand why people don’t really want to talk about it constantly. It’s private. Guys have things that happen to their bodies as they grow to be men. And we wouldn’t exist without that contribution, either. But a guy who sat around talking about it all day long wouldn’t just be considered tiresome—women would dismiss him as a perv. And you know that’s the truth ! 😅
