Is it possible for a pet to survive having a length of its intestines pulled out?

I don't know how bad it is yet, but something apparently attacked our cat Amber and we're taking her to the animal ER.

Yikes! Everything wants to eat cats! Apparently they taste good. Likely your poor kitty was attacked by coyotes. There are missing cat posters all over the place here. I hope Amber pulls through.

@TexChik Can't imagine a coyote getting past the fence, i'd hate to think of one running around here with our pets around though.

@TeirdalinFirefall It was in your back yard? Bobcats attack domestic cats as food too. Does Amber have her claws?

@TexChik She does have her claws, and basically everywhere outside our house is just yard; we're sort of a little farm house on an acre.

Don't think we have bobcats here, in sorta Oregon mountains.

@TeirdalinFirefall you have lynx, same thing only bigger and cold adapted. Owls even swoop down and grab cats, but if shes been injured to where her intestines have been exposed you can count on it being a predator attack.
