Am I the only one who has more than one mental voice in my head?

@Shyanne Your doc should be more caring it sounds like. Do you have areas of memory that are missing from your day?

our memory is really bad..like..we dont even really feel like our "birth parents" are our real parents? Even tho they say they have photos and that we are. We just aren't that close to them and I can't remember much from my childhood other than looking at pictures of ourselves as a kid

yes, none of us are human? They all have different names, some are different genders too

@Shyanne Non human alters are common as well. But never be afraid of them either. Some of them may have been abused and taken the brunt of the trauma. That can lead to them developing their own issues. Sometimes scary issues. But what they want most is to tell their story and be cared for.

Im only really scared of one of them because he is a bit suicidal/evil it seems? The rest I'm not really scared of, tho it's hard to tell which of us is the original/main one..

@Shyanne They aren't really evil. At least as far as I know from experience. They have just been through enough to twist them. But they didnt start out that way. Are there little ones in there too?

yes we got a very strong baby/infant one who is very strong and willful lol I feel it is our job to protect her

@Shyanne The little ones usually represent the time before the abuse. They break off and get put somewhere safe while another one takes the abuse instead.
