Does anyone know how to stop biting fingernails?

I have been biting my fingernails my whole life and tried a lot of different things to stop, but still struggling, anyone got any ideas?

@Ryanoliver2011 No a jackass is when someone who is so dense, that they don't understand sarcasm or humor, comes along and tells everyone else they don't get it. That is both humorous and pathetic at the same time.
