Why is my jaw making noises? Should I be worried?

I was lip-syncing along to some music, and I was getting really into it and opening my mouth really wide. But then I noticed my jaw kept making a popping sound, and it's kinda uncomfortable to open my mouth all the way. Thoughts? I know you people are not professionals.

There's something wrong with the joint that connects your jaw to your face. A dentist can help you try to realign it.
