@ImplodingVoices Thank you. I knew that there was a touch of jealously in their words. I guess I thought that family was supposed to support each other. When I ACTUALLY had mental health issues in my teenage years, they were no where to be seen.

Perhaps explain your goal ONE time, then ignore any more commemts they make. I have the opposite problem with my family and people in general. I get told I'm too skinny despite being of normal weight...134, 5'3...i guess it's a soithern thing. Unless you're fat, you must be sick or 'trying to be skinny' as they say...
It's even worse when you are seen eating something healthy, as if humans aren't SUPPOSED to eat healthy food.

@iamnikki I'm sorry that you are also struggling to make your family understand your health decisions. I think that a lot of people here have hit the nail on the head; most of them are just jealous because they can't do or are too lazy to do what we have.
