Does she have diabetes? My sis had floaters and it may be caused by her high sugar..she is diabetic for many years. Check SOON with an eye specialist, ophthalmologist...then maybe have MRI on brain done, if nothing showing in eye..?

@Coralmist she doesn't have diabetes, but she does have a chiari malformation 1 but every doctor has been telling her it's unrelated to her eye problem.

So did she see an ophthalmologist? That dr. Can see inside to the nerves...perhaps there is glaucoma or some type cataract... They can diagnose it. Maybe tell her to visit ER if it's so bad.... I know if she sees an ophthalmologist soon they can probably help her eye....🌿

Ok because my eye dr. Told me always take out my contacts at night and give two days also only with glasses on a week, because too much contact use can cause ulcer in eye....but I think your friend may not have that since you said she does mainly glasses...let us know what pans out...tell her to find ophthalmologist tomorrow to fit her in, as an emergency 🌸@Genesis

The flashes of blue and grey made me think of a neurological condition too, but the other symptoms seem more physical. The best advice I can give is that she should continue to pursue medical advice on this and not be fobbed off with excuses.

Tell her to check an eye specialist. It could be glaucoma or superior oblique mykomia or something else. Not a good thing.

@SW-User I will thank you. I never considered glaucoma.

She needs more than an eye doctor
Genesis · 26-30, F
@AnneHoney I thought maybe another neuropthamologist or a neurosurgeon but she's scared now.

@Genesis i had a row with one doctor told me I was abusive.. fucking prick I should've made a formal complaint because it does knock your confidence and instil that belief their all uncaring tossers. Your a Good friend make sure she goes back and gets the right treatment

@liloleme123 thank you. You're right one bad doctor shouldn't make them all look bad. But it's sad when patients are discouraged from seeking help.

I’d consult with a neurologist.
