Tess Holliday: Inspiration, or Thinspiration?

She's large, she's loud and proud, and she's lovely. Do you agree with Tess's message, that beauty, of any size, shape, or color is lovely? Or is she someone who oversimplifies beauty and forgets health?

Nope. I'm sorry but body confidence and body positivity is one thing, denial that you're unhealthy is another. Be body positive enough that you take care of your body. Have body acceptance for the things you can not change, like marks on your skin, your body shape/structure, your height, your skin color, etc. Fat acceptance is just an excuse for people to shove donuts down their throats
And mashed potatoes, and pizza, bread, cheeses, sweets, and such...

I am honestly torn by these arguments. I feel the more we accept where we're at, love ourselves exactly where we meet ourselves, the greater chance we'll have at being in a better place, via accepting ourselves and our capabilities. Still, nobody should be stuck in a place of lesser health, without reason to change our thinking, because of excuses. There's so much more to it! In any case, it's up to us to decide for ourselves. @Secretgal
