Are you using Windows 10?

If so you can reduce the 'blue light', it might make a difference.

Just type NightLight in the search and follow instrucions.
It's easy.

@Nimbus I do use that, and more light in the room would help. During the day, the whole sky is like that.

@SW-User OK, all you can do then is hope it doesn't get worse, they can settle at the bottom of the eyes.
