Is it true that drinking tea from plastic cups causes cancer?!!

I looked up "Is it dangerous to drink hot tea from plastic cups?" It said it could cause harm to the body, the cup has chemicals or could cause cancer. I've drank tea from plastic cups a few times and nobody told me it was dangerous. Nothing was wrong with me. Now I'm freaking out! I may have cancer! HELP!!!! I don't w$ant cancer. I'm 22! Most people drink tea from glass cups. What about Starbucks?! I might have cancer and dont know it!
