Selective health focus

We're all about the "opioid crisis" right now, but alcohol kills more people per year than all other drugs [i]combined.[/i]

Where's the outcry and health strategy for that, or is it so socially acceptable that no one cares enough to change the status quo?

We tried making alcohol illegal... It doesn't work. There's nothing that can be done about it.
People die anyway... Why do we have to be so shocked and horrified?
We just need to accept that shit happens and death happens
